This is one excerpt from Scott Bourne’s book “eclipse” which he released in co-operation with the good folks of carhartt. If you haven’t heard of him check this interview I found by the Juice magazin, to get glimpse of the madness you can witness tonight.

I have really enjoyed reading his poems, and I think the exhibition of his pictures at the carhartt store in Munich is gonna be blast. The after party is hosted by my man “Not FX”. So be there or be █

Here one peek I took while nobody was watching as I was at the exhibition two days ago…

Kein DJ hat so viele WM-Titel gewonnen wie Rafik. Zuerst mit seiner DJ Crew “Lordz of FItness”, dann solo. Das schöne bei Rafik ist, dass die Battle-DJ-typische Affinität zum Breakbeat in optimalem Maß in sein Dasein als Club-DJ hinein spielt und er somit über die Jahre einen ganz eigenen eklektischen Stil zwischen Hip Hop und elektronischer Musik entwickelt hat. Trotz seiner vielen DMC- und ITF-Titel ist Rafik weit mehr als ein notorischer Scratch-Nerd, und so nützt er seine Battle-Skills zwar geschickt um seine Club-Sets damit zu garnieren, die Musik spielt aber in jedem Fall die wichtigste Rolle bei seinen Club-Gigs und ein gesunder Groove zählt für ihn mehr als nicht enden wollende Monster-Cuts.

Wir freuen uns auf DJ Rafik und darüber, dass wir mit ihm ein DJ-Schwergewichts-Kaliber im Gewölbe haben, dass auf einer Stufe steht mit DJ Q-Bert, A-Trak & DJ Craze.

I just heard of the new project called Mr. Ho of the vienna based DJ, producer and FM4 host DJ BEWARE. I’m sure most of you know his UNLIMITED radio show. DJ BEWARE was the first DJ at BUSTER BLOW and he’s one of those DJ’s who can virtually mix all kinds of music. Pat Lawson is a Munich based singer, songwriter and Live Performer – and an ACTUAL TALENT !
This is his first release in co-op with Timezone Records. For all other info on him go here.
He plans to release one song every 4 to 6 weeks with this one containing remixes by Antoine Montana and Gitta Sax.

It leads up to an EP containing all 6 and a probable bonus cut we have to record yet :)
